Winklevoss Twins Invest in “Hukkster”

Remember the Winklevoss twins? The twin brothers have plans for their Facebook money and recently invested in SumZero, a site which connects money managers. They’ve also invested in a new shopping site based out of New York called Hukkster.

The purpose for the site is an idea I can get behind: allowing shoppers to track online merchandise and receive notifications when prices drop. Unlike sites such as Gilt Group and HauteLook, the user will only be notified for items they chose to track. It seems the brothers plans won’t stop there, they’ve been looking to open an office, with an eye on space in Manhattan’s Flatiron neighborhood.
