Water From Air And A Billboard?

Now, this really is smart water.

This billboard in Lima, Peru creates water from humidity in the air, and was created by ad agency Mayo Draftcb to promote UTEC, the country’s university of engineering and technology.  Utilizing a process of reverse osmosis, the billboard generator can produce a thousand liters of drinking water in one month.

Props to Mayo Draftcb for such a brillant approach. Thinking in these terms (making water from right where you are as opposed to transporting it in) could be an efficient solution for water shortages all over the world.
